Soffit (the underside of the roof overhang) and fascia (the vertical board behind the gutter) protect the structural framing at the edge of your roof. When they rot or fail, water gets into the rafter tails and the structure starts to fail behind them. Catching it early makes the repair cheaper.

We install and repair soffit and fascia in wood, vinyl, aluminum, and fiber cement depending on what your home already has, what your budget looks like, and what will hold up best in your specific situation. Wood is traditional and paintable but requires more upkeep in WNC's humid climate. Vinyl and aluminum are low-maintenance and moisture-resistant — a good fit for homes that have had rot issues in the past. Fiber cement, including Hardie trim, gives you the look of wood with significantly better durability and a longer paint life.
