Roofing, Siding & Exterior Renovation in Brevard, NC
Brevard is a longer drive for us — about 45 minutes from Asheville — but we run jobs out here regularly, from historic homes near downtown to cabins and second homes at the edge of Pisgah National Forest. We bundle work across Transylvania County when scheduling allows so pricing stays consistent with the rest of our service area, and we handle the full exterior out here: roofing, siding, decks, porches, windows, gutters, and storm repair.
What homeowners say
Don't take our word for it — here's what your neighbors are saying
Built for Brevard's Forest Canopy
Brevard sits right at the edge of Pisgah National Forest, and that dense tree canopy means more debris buildup, more moss growth, and more falling-limb damage than a roof out in the open. We factor that into the underlayment and flashing on every install, and we do a lot of repair work here after storms drop limbs through a roof deck. Every metal installation carries our 15-year workmanship warranty.
Built for Brevard's Forest Humidity
Between the forest humidity and the mix of historic in-town homes and wooded cabin properties, siding out here has to handle more sustained moisture exposure than most of our service area. We're a James Hardie Preferred Remodeler and LP SmartSide Authorized Installer, so the manufacturer warranty stays intact and the flashing is detailed to keep moisture out.
Built for Brevard's Wooded, Sloped Lots
A lot of Brevard properties back right up to Pisgah National Forest or sit on steep, wooded lots, which means engineered footings and careful tree clearance matter before framing even starts. We handle that structural work in-house, whether it's a screened porch tied into an existing roofline or a new deck on a forest-edge lot.

Brevard's Storm Risk Is Falling Trees, Not Flooding
The biggest storm risk in Brevard usually isn't flooding — Transylvania County came through Hurricane Helene better than a lot of our other service areas — it's falling trees and limbs from all that forest cover. We do a lot of insurance-claim roof and gutter repair here after wind events drop debris through a roof deck. Our seamless aluminum gutters are pitched for WNC's rainfall volume.

Common questions from homeowners in your area
Do you charge more if I am farther from Asheville?
No — our pricing is consistent across our service area. We schedule trips around drive distance to keep crews efficient, but the homeowner does not pay a travel premium.
How quickly can you get to me?
For non-emergency work, most homes get an on-site estimate within one business day of reaching out. Active leaks and storm damage get same-day attention. Once an estimate is approved, most projects start within one to three weeks depending on season and material lead times.
Do you pull permits in this jurisdiction?
Yes — we pull every permit a project legitimately requires. Most residential roof replacements do not need a permit in this area, but additions, framing alterations, and some commercial projects do. We handle the paperwork.
Will you tear off old shingles or roof over them?
We tear off. Roofing over an existing layer is allowed in most jurisdictions but it adds weight to the structure, traps existing damage that you cannot see, and shortens the life of the new roof. We do not recommend it and we do not bid that way.
Do you work with my insurance company?
Yes — we have done insurance-claim restorations across WNC for over a decade. We document scope, work directly with adjusters, and handle supplements when the original payout misses something legitimate.
