Roofing, Siding & Exterior Renovation in Asheville, NC
Asheville is home base — we live and work here, and most of our crew has spent the better part of a decade on Asheville homes. From West Asheville bungalows and North Asheville Craftsmans to the newer builds out toward Biltmore Park, we handle the full exterior: roofing, siding, decks, porches, windows, gutters, and storm repair — all with the same crew, so nothing gets lost between subcontractors pointing fingers at each other.
What homeowners say
Don't take our word for it — here's what your neighbors are saying
Built for Asheville's Elevation Changes
Asheville's elevation swings hard from one neighborhood to the next — a roof in the Kenilworth valley sees different wind and freeze-thaw stress than one up in North Asheville. We install both architectural shingle and standing-seam metal roofing, and we spec the fastening pattern and underlayment to the specific exposure of your property, not a one-size template. Every metal installation carries our 15-year workmanship warranty.

Right for Asheville's Older Housing Stock
A lot of Asheville's housing stock — the Montford and Grove Park bungalows especially — was built long before modern moisture barriers existed, which means siding replacement here is as much about getting the house wrap and flashing right as it is about the material on top. We're a James Hardie Preferred Remodeler and LP SmartSide Authorized Installer, so the manufacturer warranty stays intact, and we detail every window head, sill pan, and kick-out flashing so water has nowhere to get in.
Engineered for Asheville's Sloped Lots
Between the sloped lots and the mountain views, most Asheville deck and porch projects need engineered footings before they need anything else — we're used to building on grade changes that would stop a lot of crews. Whether it's a screened porch tied properly into an existing roofline or a new composite deck built to take advantage of a view lot, our framing crew handles the structural work in-house.

One Crew for Every Line on the Claim
We've handled Hurricane Helene claims across Asheville, and the pattern is usually the same: roof damage that also took out gutters, soffit, or a section of siding at the same time. Because one crew handles all of it, we can document the full scope for your adjuster in one visit instead of coordinating three separate contractors. Seamless aluminum gutters are pitched specifically for WNC's rainfall volume, and we're insurance-claim ready on every storm job.
What We Do Locally
From rooftops to front porches, we handle the projects that keep Asheville homes protected, functional, and looking sharp. Every job is handled by our own crew — no subcontractors, no surprises.

Common questions from homeowners in your area
Do you charge more if I am farther from Asheville?
No — our pricing is consistent across our service area. We schedule trips around drive distance to keep crews efficient, but the homeowner does not pay a travel premium.
How quickly can you get to me?
For non-emergency work, most homes get an on-site estimate within one business day of reaching out. Active leaks and storm damage get same-day attention. Once an estimate is approved, most projects start within one to three weeks depending on season and material lead times.
Do you pull permits in this jurisdiction?
Yes — we pull every permit a project legitimately requires. Most residential roof replacements do not need a permit in this area, but additions, framing alterations, and some commercial projects do. We handle the paperwork.
Will you tear off old shingles or roof over them?
We tear off. Roofing over an existing layer is allowed in most jurisdictions but it adds weight to the structure, traps existing damage that you cannot see, and shortens the life of the new roof. We do not recommend it and we do not bid that way.
Do you work with my insurance company?
Yes — we have done insurance-claim restorations across WNC for over a decade. We document scope, work directly with adjusters, and handle supplements when the original payout misses something legitimate.
